Local artists will create art in a studio setting
A quartet of local artists are participating for the first time in the 9th annual Art Harvest Tour, presented by Art on the Prairie, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23-24.
From 10 am to 5 pm both days, artists Jolene Peters, Curt Nelson and Kevin Shea will be at Art on the Fly, located at 114 N. Wilson Ave. Chad Elliot will be in his studio, Elliot Art Studio, 113 S. Chestnut St. All the artists will be creating in a studio setting.
“This is the first time Jefferson will have artists participating in the Art Harvest Tour, so please visit the studios and meet each artist and learn about their particular medium and creative process,” a spokesperson said.
